The application “I know How I Drive” displays, to a registered user, any traffic offences they have committed within the boundaries of Prague. A typical example would be information from city speed camera readings.
Who is the service for?
- The service I Know How I Drive can be used by all vehicle owners who choose to register to the Portal www.praha.eu. You can register at the contact point of the Portal.
- Currently the service can be used only by people who are the stated vehicle owner in the certificate of vehicle registration, the so called „small technical registration book“.
- The service is not yet accessible for legal entities, self-employed persons, employees who are using company cars etc.
How can I start using the service?
- You have to register at a contact point in the Prague City Hall building, at counter 58 (temporarily moved to the counter n. 11).
- Contact points are open from Monday to Thursday between 8 am and 6 pm, and on Friday between 8 am and 3 pm.
- After you submit the small technical registration book and your ID, you will receive a sealed envelope with your user name and password for the application. Afterwards you can use any computer with internet access to visit Prague Portal www.praha.eu and log onto it with your user name and password.
- If you are already a holder of Opencard with a contact chip, you can use it to access the service after you register as a user of the service I Know, How I Drive.
What will I learn about my driving?
Information displayed with the service concerns just the traffic offenses committed inside the territory of Prague, which are subject to administrative proceedings from the initiative of Prague Municipal Police, such as speeding, wrong parking etc.
What am I not going to learn about my driving?
- How many penalty points there are on my driving licence
- Traffic offenses solved directly at the spot
- Traffic offenses, when the vehicle registration number hasn’t been ascertained
- Traffic offenses committed outside of Prague
- Traffic offenses registered by the Czech Police, before they were submitted to Prague City Hall for administrative proceedings
