Electronic vouhers for children and juniors
As of 13th June 2010, it will only be possible to purchase season tickets for tariff categories ’Children’ (10-15 years) and ’Junior’ (15-19 years) using the Opencard electronic form. The paper season tickets remain valid in outer zones.
Ticket prices remain unchanged. See the table below.
New types of vouchers
New types of season tickets for children and juniors will be introduced as of 31st July 2010.
- school ticket, category Child for children between 10 and 15
- 5 month duration – with an optional validity start date : CZK 600
- 10 month duration – with a restricted validity start date in the period between 15. 8. and 1. 11.: CZK 1.200
- school ticket, category Junior for juniors between 15 and 19
- 5 month duration – with an optional validity start date: CZK 1 200
- 10 month duration – with a restricted validity start date in the period between 15. 8. and 1. 11.: CZK 2 400
End of 30 day and 90 day vouchers
As of 13th June, the 30 day and 90 day season tickets will cease to be valid any more; only the monthly and quarterly vouchers with the optional validity start date will be available after 13th June. For example, a monthly ticket valid from 13. 3. remains valid until 12. 4.; the quarterly ticket valid from 13. 3. remains valid until 12. 6. The duration of validity depends on the date and not on the number of days.
