How To Handle Opencard

The card should be handled like every other electronic card. You must avoid bending it, breaking it or other physically damaging it. The card must also not be exposed to temperatures below – 10 °C or higher than 40 °C, or to the damaging effects of alternating electric current or magnetic fields.

The card can not be exchanged free of charge mainly in following cases:

  • The card is visibly damaged (chipped, has a cut, or is deformed)

  • Integrity of the card is disturbed (by a whole, it is cut, or it is broken)

  • Card is bent (when the card is laying on the table and its bend is more than 2 mm at its highest point)

  • There are scratches and holes on the surfaces (when you go over it with a fingernail, it gets stuck)

  • Other damages that are in conflict with the Conditions for Opencard Issue and Use
