You can suspend the validity of a yearly ticket twice during its validity, for 14 days at minimum and 60 days at maximum (for both suspensions). Validity of the ticket is afterwards extended by the amount of time for which it has been suspended.
Suspension can be done up to 60 days in advance; this service is subject to the CZK 60 charge.
You can apply for suspension in behalf of someone else in which case you submit a signed copy of the Opencard applicant together with a verified power of attorney with stated: name and surname of the applicant, Opencard number and the exact period for which the yearly voucher should be suspended.
