- with the help of the customer phone line,
- at an Opencard contact point.
Card blocking or unblocking with the help of the customer phone line
- Have ready the personal identification code that you received on collection of the card. Your personal identification code is written on the card holder.
- Call the phone line for card blocking, +420 210 028 111, and follow the operators’ instructions. The phone line is in operation every weekday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
- The operator will ask for your surname, first name and for some data from your date of birth. Subsequently they will ask you to state selected symbols from your personal identification code.
- If your identification is successful, the operator will ask you what kind of operation you want to carry out.
- The operator will block or unblock the card on your request. Information about blocking or unblocking the card will be forwarded to card application providers within 24 hours.
Card blocking / unblocking at an Opencard contact point
- Complete the Application form for Opencard status change (PDF) (available only in Czech). This can be obtained at an Opencard contact point. In instances of changes in circumstances, state blocking/unblocking of the card.
- Submit the completed application form at the contact point together with a valid ID card for verification of personal data; foreigners should submit a valid passport or residence permit.
- If your application is in order, the staff will block or unblock your card on the spot. Information about blocking or unblocking is forwarded to card services providers within 24 hours.
