Opencard is a smart-card designed for Prague residents and visitors. It is issued by Prague City Hall. The aim of the project is to establish new ways of communication between the City and its citizens and more convenient access to the services provided by the City.

Opencard can be used as a public transport season ticket for travelling.
The card can be used for cashless payment of parking fees in the district of Prague 1.
Opencard can be used as a library card. It is accepted by the Municipal Library of Prague.
The service “I know how I drive” displays unresolved traffic offences to the registered users.
Even those who haven’t got Opencard yet can still get the yearly voucher.
As of 17th December, an anonymous version of Opencard will be issued. As opposed to the personal version of the card, you don’t need to state any personal data.
